Rohingya Muslims|'Myanmar will take Them according to1992 announcement’

Myanmar has declared withdrawal of Rohingya based on the 1992 declaration

Myanmar said the joint declaration will be based on the 1992 declaration of withdrawal of Rohingya who took shelter from Bangladesh in Rakhine state in the face of violence. It has been stated in a statement by the State Councilor's Office on Tuesday. The statement was given by Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali in Dhaka on Monday on the meeting of Myanmar State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi's Office of the Minister Kia D'Souza. However, in this statement there is no information about the formation of a joint working group to supervise the repatriation of Rohingyas and the proposed new agreement in Bangladesh.

On Monday, Foreign Minister Mahmud Ali told reporters after a meeting with Myanmar ministers that the two countries agreed on the formation of a joint working group and the new agreement. In fact, according to the joint declaration of two countries in 1992, Rohingya will be able to return to Rakhine with valid papers of Myanmar.

In the statement, the Myanmar minister reiterated the promise made by the country's state councilor Aung San Suu Kyi on September 19. According to Suu Kyi's commitment, Myanmar is ready for verification and rehabilitation of the Rohingya. According to the joint announcement of both Bangladesh and Myanmar on 28 April 1992, they will be taken back. Under this joint declaration, from 1992 to 2005 July 2 lakh 36 thousand 495 people were taken from Bangladesh to Myanmar. In the meeting, the Minister of Myanmar brought the matter of agreement to the senior officials of the two countries held on January 14, 2000 in Yangon.

The issues between the two countries are possible to solve bilateral solutions

The statement said that the issues between the two countries are possible to solve bilateral solutions in a friendly way considering the interests of both the countries. Bangladesh Foreign Minister reiterated the continuation of traditional friendship between the two countries. Referring to Aresa as the common enemy of Bangladesh and Myanmar, Zero Tolerance policy against terrorism has said. At the end of the meeting, the Myanmar minister invited Bangladesh's Foreign Minister to visit Nostito. According to the joint joint statement of April 1, 1992, the Bangladeshi minister has been invited to visit the Rohingyas who want to return to Myanmar. Bangladesh's Foreign Minister accepted the invitation. The statement also said, Myanmar ministers took part in a lunch after the meeting. The Home Minister of Bangladesh was also present. Myanmar's Interior Ministry gave an invitation letter to the Home Minister of Bangladesh on behalf of the Interior Ministry. Bangladesh minister has been invited to visit Myanmar for a detailed discussion on this. It has been said in the statement that the two-party negotiations were friendly and warm.

Meanwhile, news reports Reuters reported that the Rohingyas have given assurances to the Myanmar ministers to come back to Bangladesh and the doubtful Rohingya Myanmar agrees to return to Myanmar because it is ready to go back to Myanmar.

According to the report, more than five lakh Rohingyas have fled to Bangladesh till date. One Rohingya named Abdullah said that the houses were all burned. They have run away with life. It is not possible for many of them to show the necessary documents to go back to Myanmar. Besides, Myanmar government has not granted Rohingya's citizenship since 1993. Now it is impossible for many to prove Myanmar citizenship. Moreover, this process of repatriation is very long.

With regard to Rohingya refugee crisis, the honor of Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi is being withdrawn from the 'Freedom of Oxford'. Oxford City Council honored him for a long struggle for democracy in 1997.

But the Oxford City Council said, this honor is not suitable for the leader of Myanmar. Myanmar's Rakhine fled on 5th August after five hundred Rohingyas fled to Bangladesh. Aung San Suu Kyi was under house arrest in Yangon for the struggle for democracy under the control of the military junta. That is why he and his National League for Democracy are considered as symbols of freedom and democracy. His party formed the government through open elections in 2015.

But recent leaders of the Rakhine community have criticized Rohingyas for their new conflicts and silence on the issue of racial discrimination against the military. In the Oxford City Council meeting on Monday, it was decided that the information gathered from the United Nations is not suitable for the Aung San Suu Kyi and 'Freedom of Oxford'. The honor will be officially withdrawn in the special meeting next month, but this decision may change if Myanmar's situation improves.

Earlier it was known that St. Hugh College of Oxford withdrew from a Portrait exhibition of Suu kyi.
